Ministries
Trinity Methodist’s ministries in the church and in the community:
Internal Ministries of the church
Christian education for all ages, visitation for the home-bound, small groups.
Trinity High-School Youth Group
The high-school group at Trinity is dedicated to doing meaningful service and having fun. Each month of the school year we will do one community service project, and one fun social event. Each summer we participate in a life-chaining mission trip. Contact: Erin MacLeod.
Young Adult Ministry
18-35ish young adults are invited to join fellow young adults for activities throughout the month! We will be meeting after church a couple times a month and walking to local coffee shops and restaurants for food and fellowship. Other monthly activities will vary throughout the year but may include Bible studies, book groups, day trips, volunteer opportunities, dinners and much more.
Appalachian Service Project (ASP) [website]
An annual service project for youth, similar to Habitat for Humanity, that helps provide adequate housing for low-income families.
Food Collection for the Hungry
Monthly food collection for an ecumenical food pantry (dried food goods) and for a neighborhood-based community center (fresh foods).
Circles of Support
A small group ministry which accompanies formerly-incarcerated individuals in their process of reincorporation into society. Contact Susan Pearsall or Lin Compton for more information.
