Woman from Divine Savior, Asbury and Trinity will be traveling to Pine Lake for a time of fellowship, spiritual growth, fun and renewal. The spiritual focus this year is “Pathways to Peace.”

Cost for double-occupancy room, meals and registration is $50, and the deadline for signing up is Monday, Feb. 20.

  • March 6-7 Pine Lake Women’s Retreat – ” A Sabbath Walk” is the theme for this year’s retreat. Laura Roethe Christian Ed. Director at Monona will be the retreat leader.
  • March 27 at First UMC – “For Christ’s Sake Turn the World Upside Down!” This social action day will focus on caring for creation. Our day will include bible study, and a “Green Team” overview with presentations on how individuals and congregations made changes to became good stewards of creation. *This event is for anyone who wishes to learn about our denomination and the environment.
  • Let’s Start a UMW Unit – United Methodist Women is an organization within our denomination that promotes social justice, spiritual growth and fellowship opportunities for women involved in the church. It has developed many resources and events to connect us with each other and the world. I’m interested in creating a library at church as part of our unit activities.
