During the last sermon series, ‘War and Peace’, Pastor Amanda lead us in exploring various aspects of war, especially the theory of Just War. To help get a different perspective on war’s effects, we interviewed the Toki family. Akira is a Madison native of Japanese descent who fought in WWII. His wive, Mary, was imprisoned in an Japanese American internment camp during the war. Needless to say, we were all very interested in what this unique couple had to say about war.
